# Removing the “PC App Store” Full‑Screen Malware
This malware displays a full‑screen window demanding account creation and credit‑card details.  
It blocks Task Manager and reappears even under Administrator accounts.

Below is the complete offline removal procedure.

## 1. Disconnect the PC From the Internet
- Unplug Ethernet cable  
- Or disable Wi‑Fi using the hardware switch (if present)  
- Or unplug the router temporarily  

This prevents the malware from reloading its full‑screen window.

## 2. Force Windows Into Safe Mode
1. Hold **Shift** and click **Restart**  
2. Choose: **Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Startup Settings → Restart**  
3. Press **4** for **Safe Mode** (or **5** for Safe Mode with Networking** if needed)

If the malware blocks Restart:
- Hold the power button for 10 seconds  
- Turn on the PC  
- As soon as Windows begins loading, hold the power button again
